I came home to a room full of wonderful smells that brought back the memories of when we first got married first meals. Did you still have moments like that? Marriage is full of sacrifices.
You can probably relate more to the statement that your attitude determines your altitude. The more positive that you are, the higher you will propel yourself towards whatever goal that you are aspiring to attain. Therefore, it is quite simple to say that your outlook determines your outcome in life, business, marriage and finances.
It is said that …” the fire that melts butter is the same fire that hardens steel…”
The love of my life surely melted my heart 30+ years ago, and that hardened our relationship in a way that has forged this union like the highest grade of the finest steel.
It was probably one of the most grueling work days in my young career.
The kind of day when and where everything that can go wrong DOES go wrong. (of course hindsight being 20/20…those are referred to as “life lessons”).
In a good marriage you rise and shine each and every beautiful day with the one you love… and you too can say your life is truly like being in paradise. But then again, sometimes day to day marriage routines get tossed around and happens more like throwing a pair of dice.
Anyways, looking back on some of those first meals, it certainly must have been love or just plain old hunger pains. Spaghetti…just because….but I digress.
Of course it was the willingness to please one another that you tend to ignore some dislikes in your life. Everybody has foods or items that they just plain don’t like. Me? Not much, just things that are still moving. Fresh is good and all, but sometimes it just needs to be dead to be any good!
What is duty…or more specifically…what does duty mean to you? Most people, given the state of the world today, probably tend to think in military terms of those that serve, have served or are serving to protect and defend. On the other side of the coin, some would think in terms like that of a work ethic type philosophy. Not that the two are exclusively different.
