This is a revisit to what got me started on writing this post in the first place. Oddly enough, we’re coming up on that heartfelt time of the year when we lavish love upon one another. Well bite me again.

It all started a few years ago with a man, a woman, an apple and a snake.

Marriage is like a trip to the Doctors office! The main goal of course in going to the healing physician is to help make yourself better.
You make an appointment to visit the Doctor (kinda like courting or preparing for dating) and when you get there, he or she asks you a lot of questions to find out more about you…and that leads to….the EXAMINATION!

It is said that …” the fire that melts butter is the same fire that hardens steel…”

The love of my life surely melted my heart 30+ years ago, and that hardened our relationship in a way that has forged this union like the highest grade of the finest steel.

It was probably one of the most grueling work days in my young career.
The kind of day when and where everything that can go wrong DOES go wrong. (of course hindsight being 20/20…those are referred to as “life lessons”).

In a good marriage you rise and shine each and every beautiful day with the one you love… and you too can say your life is truly like being in paradise. But then again, sometimes day to day marriage routines get tossed around and happens more like throwing a pair of dice.

Bypass. We are not talking a highway bypass or heart bypass or desert bypass or even a sale at the mall that you don’t want to bypass.
We are in fact talking about information…information that gets left out of what you are trying to learn, understand or just keep up with.
